Whether you are a beginner, a more experienced player, or someone who is coming back to the piano after a period away, you could not do better than to have some lessons with Simon. I fall into the third category, and after many years in which my playing only got worse I feel I am making real progress after just a few lessons. 

In addition to being an excellent teacher, Simon is always encouraging and supportive. He is able to communicate effectively what you need to do in order to improve and the results are remarkable. Plus you get to play a Steinway! Highly recommended.

I began taking piano lessons with Simon as he was very approachable and answered all my questions about the lessons quickly and politely. I have found him to be a truly excellent teacher. He was able to instantly see errors in my technique and suggest very useful exercises to target the problems. 

 I have been thrilled with the progress I have made with Simon. He took a simple piece I had been learning on my own and really transformed every aspect of my performance of it. I really felt he moulded the lessons to achieve my goals and was able to answer questions between lessons if I got stuck on something. I would have no hesitation in recommending Simon to anybody seeking piano lessons.
